Global Santoku Hollow Ground, 7″

This stainless steel kitchen knife has an elegant design with a modern and distinctive look. The knife is constructed using methods similar to the Samurai swords of old, with a razor sharp, thin blade which is extremely durable; each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand. The smooth contours and seamless construction eliminate food and dirt traps, offering the ultimate in safety and hygiene. The darkened dimples on the handle provide a non-slip grip. The Santoku knife is a great knife for cutting sushi and sashimi, slicing mushrooms or anything else that needs to be sliced paper thin, mincing ginger, and scoring meat and fish. The Granton (fluted) edge creates pockets of air which prevent extra thin or soft slices from sticking to the blade.
